Tugged the Moon Into the Ground || Honor&Luka
The tree house had been too quiet lately. And for Honor to even be thinking that there had to be something seriously wrong. She liked the quiet normally, enjoyed the silence but over the past few years she had grown used to the chaos of the Lost Boys. Now how ever it was just unnerving. Kip was gone, Ollie ran off somewhere not long after. Bingo seemed to always be shut up in his room and Honor had very little hope of seeing Echo again. The thought made her stomach twist in knots as the the girl considered the other Lost Boy to be one of her closest friends. Ever since she left it seemed the entire gang had begun to slowly unravel.
Honor had spent a good amount of time locked away in her own room as well. Typically writing the usual, stories, thoughts blooming in her head, letters to everyone she knew but eventually her fingers began to ache and wrist grew sore. She knew she needed to get out of the woods for a bit or she’d go insane. It’d been a while since she left the tree house let alone the forest. Tonight seemed to be a good opportunity. With the kids already asleep, Honor packed a few of her things and set out.
Some time ago she had been cleaning through Ollie’s room and found a supply of paint and spray cans. Her brother had always been the artist in the family but Honor figured she’d give it a shot. For the past few weeks she had moved her work from plain paper to clear spots on the buildings through out Battery City. Tonight she headed down a deserted alley way, the cans of spray paint clinking together in her bag. Honor hunched down near one of the corners and pulled out a few of the paints. She looked around her to make sure the coast was clear and set to work.
